Brief History
Christian Church, Denton, MD started in 1993 in home in Denton. They were led by a church planting veteran named Dave Bennett. They moved into our current facility almost 10 years ago.
In 2008, Christian Church, Denton, MD sought the help of East Coast Evangelizing Fellowship (ECEF) to get things kicked into high gear. ECEF agreed to do a restart project in Denton and brought Billy Johnson on site in September of 2008. This is a five-year process of restructure and growth. The name of the new church resulting from this process is Denton Christian Church.
Purpose
Denton Christian Church exists for one purpose. We make disciples of Jesus. We do that by providing opportunities for people to LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE and SERVE EVERYWHERE. We believe that those three characteristics mark followers of Jesus.
